Fish with the Power of CHIRP
The echoMAP CHIRP 75sv sonar comes equipped with a transducer for high wide sonar and Garmin CHIRP ClearVü and Garmin CHIRP SideVü to bring you the clearest scanning sonar on the water. It’s easy to use, install and remove and comes pre-loaded with Australia and New Zealand BlueCharts. It supports Panoptox Sonar and the included Quickdraw Contours software instantly creates your very own HD maps with 1-foot contours as you fish. Internal 5 Hz GPS updates position and heading 5 timers per second. Cords plug directly into the mount, allowing you to quickly install and remove your device from power and mount. It provides NMEA 2000® support for engine data, sensors, autopilots and more. Transom and trolling motor mounts included.
CHIRP Sonar, the most sophisticated sonar technology
The EchoMAP 75sv comes with CHIRP sonar built in, the most sophisticated sonar technology available for the fishing and boating public. CHIRP sonar puts even more energy onto the target than traditional sonar, which gives you amazingly clear target separation and definition. Sonar-recording capabilities allow you to coordinate the timing of the sonar return with your boat’s position and saves digital information for playback on a computer using HomePort™ planning software. You can also share waypoints and routes between multiple devices using the user data sharing cable.
ClearVü scanning sonar for clear images
With Garmin ClearVü and Garmin SideVü scanning sonars you get nearly photographic images down to 750 feet below your boat giving you clear pictures of structure, submerged objects and fish. Traditional Garmin HD-ID™ sonar and ClearVü scanning sonar are combined into 1 transducer. Also provides HD-ID support for Minn Kota® and MotorGuide® trolling motors and integrated transducers.
Create Personalized HD Fishing Maps
Preloaded on the echoMAP CHIRP 75sv is QuickDraw Contours, a free and easy to use software that assists you in instantly creating your own personalized HD fishing maps on your screen with 1-foot contours. Tailor the maps as needed; you own them. You can also share them with Garmin or your friends. There’s no need to wait around or send files away as your maps appear instantly while you fish, with QuickDraw Contours created them in the background. With any Garmin Pantoptix™ transducer, any HD-ID sonar, any CHIRP-enabled, Garmin ClearVü transducer or NMEA 2000®-compatible depth transducer. If you have more than 1 sonar device installed on-board the software automatically selects the most capable sonar device to provide the very bests results for you.
Compatible with Panoptix LiveVü Forward Sonar
With LiveVü Forward your boat can be moving or stationary. See live images of what is happening underwater up to 100 feet away wherever your trolling motor is pointed. You can watch your lure as it sinks and see it’s depth and movement as you retrieve it. See it move in relationship to structures in the water. See fish swimming, reacting to your bait; if they attack, you’ll see and feel the hit. Once on the hook, watch the fight on your screen as it happens
Heading and Position refreshed 5 times per second
Fast, responsive 5 Hz GPS/GLONASS refreshes your position and heading 5 times each second to make your movement on the screen more fluid. Now it’s quick and easy to drop up to 5,000 accurate waypoints and find your way back to your secret fishing hot spots.
Easy to remove and install
There’s no fussing around with plugging and unplugging wires with the echoMAP 75sv as you simply plug the cords directly into the mount. This means you can quickly install and remove your device from the power and mount for when you’re not on the water.
Auto Guidance and Map Upgrades
Accessory maps are available for purchase such as the BlueChart® g2 Vision®. It also provides exclusive Garmin Auto Guidance, a technology that directs you to your hot spots. Auto Guidance creates visual paths for you to follow so that you avoid shallow water and other charted obstructions based on your boat’s specifications.
Enhanced Auto Guidance
Garmin Auto Guidance technology can instantly search through relevant charts to create a safe, virtual pathway on the display that helps you avoid low bridges, shallow water and other charted obstructions – you simply just enter the location you want to go!
With enhanced Version 2.0 you have access to more features and capabilities. You’re able to adjust the calculated auto guidance pathway by inserting “via” points along your calculated path. And you can even engage your compatible Garmin autopilot to follow the Auto Guidance route, automatically. Other 2.0 enhancements give you the ability to calculate arrival times at any point on your route (great for timing arrivals to correspond with bridge openings and other time-critical events). Better still, you can now save your plotted Auto Guidance paths for future navigation by backing them up on an SD™ card with your BlueChart g2 Vision.
Transfer your old waypoints to your new Garmin device
With GPX software formatting it has never been easier to transfer waypoints, tracks or frequently used routes stored on another manufacturer’s GPS product to your new Garmin chartplotter. GPS is an open standard format for GPS data exchange across platforms and applications. With this easy-to-use interface technology, Garmin has taken “no waypoint left behind” to a whole new level of trade-up convenience.
